What is Aortic dissections

Aortic dissections happen when the inner lining opens up allowing the blood flow to go directly in a wall of your aorta. What happens after it goes into the wall is it builds up pressure within your blood causing its lining to open up more and increase causing a lot of pain. When you have had a Aortic dissection it needs to be treated right away.

There are symptoms of Aortic dissections that you should know and pay close attention to. If  you experience these things call 911 or your doctor.

Symptoms with a Aortic dissection:

- shoulders
- stabbing within your chest pain
- tearing within your chest pain
- severe pain suddenly
- possibly hypovolemia
- sweating
- dyspnoea
- syncope

Your doctor might give out a test to see if you have had a Aortic dissection. Once the test shows positive your doctor will then talk with you about treatments and see what possible medications might help you.
