What is Atherosclerotic plaques

Atherosclerotic plaque is a yellow color that has cholesterol and material that is in lipoid form. In your intima lipophages can be created and your arteries will be either large or medium within the atherosclerosis.

Symptoms of  the Atherosclerotic plaque:

- Atherosclerosis starts very early
- Atheroma develops in at least one arm
- Atheroma might develop with leg arteries
- peripheral artery occlusive disease
- being overweight can be a risk factor

There are still a lot of studies being done to see what is the best treatment for  Atherosclerotic plaque. At the current time non-pharmaceutical treatments are being used. When these do not work sometimes a change of lifestyle might need to happen and possibly more exercise. If you have Atherosclerotic plaque and smoke, it is recommended that you stop smoking. Other changes might be your diet and looking at ways to reduce stress.
