What causes Heart Disease? |
Do you want to know what causes heart disease? Well, heart disease can be caused by a number of factors. Firstly, it can be caused by hypertension, or high blood pressure – blood pressure usually varies with age and activity levels, but if you have high blood pressure, then you are at greater risk for a stroke. High blood cholesterol can also cause heart disease – if there is extra cholesterol in your blood (due to excess consumption of eggs, meat, or dairy products), then you could get high cholesterol, which would lead to heart disease. |
