How To Lower your Chances of Heart Disease without Medication

Lower your chances of heart disease and cholesterol by eating the right kind of diet.

    • Eat plenty of proteins with every meal, even at breakfast. This helps to avoid sudden increases in your blood sugar.
    • Eat fish, turkey, chicken, lean cuts of lamb, and even vegetable protein such as nuts, beans and tofu. Avoid all red meats.
    • Combine carbohydrates, protein, and fats, in every meal. Never eat carbohydrates alone, ex: baked potato.
    • Always avoid white flour and sugar. Eat wheat flour and sugar substitute. Do not substitute fructose corn syrup for sugar.
    •  Beans, whole grains, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and fruit all contain beneficial fiber are all high fiber, you need to eat at least 50 grams a day.
    • Avoid all processed food including junk food, including sodas, juices, and diet drinks.
    • Increase omega-3 fatty acids by eating cold-water wild salmon, sardines, herring, flaxseeds, and even seaweed. Cooking these on high temperatures removes the omega 3 fatty acids.
    • Don’t eat margarine, shortening, and processed oils. Especially those found in baked goods.
    • Avoid heavy oils like olive oil, use cold pressed sesame, and other nut oils.
    • Reduce your alcohol intake.
    • Don’t smoke, if you smoke quit as soon as possible.
    • Exercise at least 30 minutes a day.
