What Causes Congestive Heart Failure?

Congestive Heart Failure is a malfunction of the heart. It’s impaired ability to supply sufficient blood flow through the body.
Common causes of Congestive Heart Failure are:

  1. Myocardial Infarction
  2. Ischemic Heart Disease
  3. Heart Disease of the Heart Valves
  4. Hypertension
  5. Cardiomyopath

There are very large symptoms of heart failure that you may experience all or just some of them.

  1. Orthopnea is a shortness of breath and it is usually worse when lying down flat.
  2. Coughing
  3. Ankle swelling
  4. Reductation in the capability to exercise

A lot of times congestive heart failure in often misdiagnosed due to definition challenges. And that not everyone has all or sometimes not any symptoms of heart disease or heart failure.

Congestive heart failure can be treated with diet, medication and exercise. If the heart condition is more fatal sometime stents are put into the hearts arteries to open them up to allow better blood flow and keeps the heart from working so hard; and sometimes a pace maker is inserted to keep the heart beating. If is real life threatening the doctor make suggest surgery like open heart or bypass surgery.
