How to Start a Healthy Life and Help Avoid Heart Disease

People need to realize is that staying active and eating right is critical for long-term health and wellness, including Heart Disease.

The more you know about how your body responds to your lifestyle choices, the better you can plan how to change the things that are wrong for your body.

When you eat well and increase your level of physical activity, you are informing your body that you want to burn fat more efficiently for energy. Burning this fat also helps you to rid yourself of unwanted cholesterol in your body.

Proper eating habits like a “Heart Healthy Diet” plus exercise equals a faster metabolism rate. This will gives you more energy and allows you to do more physical work with less effort and stress.

Each time you exercise, your body responds by upgrading by burning more and more fat. Exercise doesn't have to be intense but you do need to be consistent.

Eat several small meals (optimally four) and a couple of small snacks throughout the day using your heart healthy diet.

Drink at least eight 8-oz. glasses of water throughout the day.

A multi-vitamin can help but always check with your doctor first.
