What is Hypertensive Heart Disease?

Believe it or not, hypertensive heart disease is one of the number one causes of death in the United States. Your heart muscles thicken excessively causing your heart to fail.

Hypertensive heart disease is often caused by a mixture of things so it is important to know the symptoms that could cause you to have heart failure.

Symptoms of Hypertensive heart disease are:

- bloating
- shortness with breath
- swelling with your feet
- swelling with your abdomen
- swelling with your ankles
- nausea
- urinate more during the night
- pluse becomes irregular
- fatigue

When you feel these symptoms you should call your doctor or either call 911 if you are in danger of a heart attack, or call your doctor if you have any of these symptoms at all and chew up a baby aspirin and drink a large glass of water.
