What More is There to Know About Coronary Heart Disease?

Inside your coronary arteries plaque might sometimes build up. The reason why these arteries are important is because they help with getting your blood rich with oxygen. Cholesterol is made by the plaque plus calcium and many substances are located within your blood. Atherosclerosis forms after plaque continues to build in your arteries.

After the coronary arteries are blocked or either they become narrowed, it makes it to where the blood can not get near your heart muscle causing a heart attack or either angina.

Angina is pain that occurs in your chest area and causes a lot of discomfort when there is lack of blood producing and flowing to the heart muscle. The pain and discomfort might be felt in your jaw, back, shoulders, neck and arms.

If Coronary heart disease is not treated it can cause the muscle of your heart to weaken and eventually cause arrhythmias or even heart failure.
