What Can Men do to lessen the Risk of Heart Disease? |
There are many things that men can do to reduce the risk of heart disease. The main and important thing is the controlling of smoking and drinking. Most of the men are smokers and drinkers. Calories from alcohol often add fat to the body, which may increase the risk of heart disease. Most of the men always seem to be with stress in their mind due to some office tension or external tension. Stress also increases the amount of blood clotting factors that circulate in your blood, making it more likely that a clot will form. Clots may then block an artery narrowed by plaque and cause a heart attack. Stress makes the heart rate to increase and the pressure to get higher. Because of this the need of oxygen in the heart increases. This need for oxygen brings chest pain for the people who already have heart disease or the person who is physically weak. So men are advised to overcome the stress by diverting or relaxing themselves for some time physically and again continue with the work. This reduces the risk of heart disease. But drinking more than a moderate amount of alcohol can cause heart-related problems such as high blood pressure, stroke and irregular heartbeats, exercise. Some adults may not have symptoms. Symptoms of congenital heart disease in children include fast breathing, poor feeding and weight gain, recurrent lung infections and an inability to exercise. This defect happens while a fetus is growing in the uterus, but symptoms may not appear until adulthood. Congenital heart disease affects many people while they grow gradually.
